These two hook racks were made from CO Blue Pine, also known as Beetle Kill. Salvaged from the Forest Service, this lumber was laying dead in the woods, a victim of the bugs. With some work and some TLC, this tree once again has life, and will continue to inspire.
Four hooks provide plenty of hanging space, and each one has enough space between it to avoid clutter. They're both 41 1/2" long and 5 1/2" wide. They're two inches deep, made from Genuine CO Blue Pine.
The image above is a natural stain that helped to empahsize the different wood grains. The image at left is more of a honey stain, giving contrast between wood and metal. Either one offers unique beauty and an attractive final touch to any room, for whatever you have to hang.
